If you sell roasting equipment under your own name, the machine has to look like yours — not like a Yoshan with a sticker over the badge. This page covers how we put a brand on a roaster, what stays neutral, and the one line in our catalogue that tells you more about our OEM work than anything we could write here.
Where this step sits
Branding is applied after powder coating and before final assembly. The plates on this page are photographed on finished machines in our plant.

Three ways to put a brand on a roaster
Laser-etched stainless plate. A stainless steel plate with your logo cut or etched through, mounted on the body, cyclone or face panel. This is the most durable option and the one we use for our own badge. It does not fade, it can be cleaned with anything you would use on the panel, and it reads as a manufacturer’s mark rather than a label.
Silk screen. Your logo printed directly onto a powder-coated panel and cured. Good for larger graphics, secondary marks and colour logos. Durable in normal café use; less so on a surface that is scrubbed daily.
Nameplate. The rating plate every machine carries by regulation — model, serial number, voltage, frequency, gas type, rated power, manufacturer and address. For OEM orders the nameplate can carry your company as the brand owner. Talk to us about what your local regulations require the plate to say; the electrical and gas data must stay accurate.
What can be neutral
For distributors and brands, we can supply:
- Machine without any Yoshan marks (badge, plate, screen boot logo where applicable).
- Neutral or your-brand packaging marks on the wooden case.
- Manual with your branding on the cover; the technical content stays the same because the machine does.
- Your logo on the EC-500G sample roaster, which is built for OEM from the start.

The line in our catalogue you should notice
Our equipment list includes custom loading feeders built for Giesen and Probat roasters. We make those for roasteries that run other manufacturers’ machines and need a loader that fits. We mention it here for one reason: it is the simplest evidence that our engineering is trusted to sit next to the two most respected names in the industry. A brand that wants a factory behind its own machines can draw its own conclusion from that.
What this means for you
- Your customers see your brand, on a machine built in a plant that has been making roasters since 1990.
- You are not exposed if the arrangement ever ends: the nameplate, the manual and the spare parts are all traceable to a real manufacturer.
- You can start with one model. OEM does not require a container of machines. Start with a sample roaster or a 3 kg shop roaster in your colour with your plate.
How to verify this on any factory
Ask any OEM supplier three things: a photo of a machine they have shipped under a customer’s brand (with the customer’s permission), a photo of the rating plate they would fit, and whether their own name stays on the machine anywhere. Then ask what happens to spare parts and warranty if you stop ordering. You are looking for clear, unhesitating answers.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum quantity for OEM branding?
No. A single machine can ship with your plate and neutral packaging. Volume affects price, not whether we will do it.
Will you show my branded machine to other customers or use my logo elsewhere?
No. Unless you give us written permission, machines built under your brand are not shown on our site, catalogue or social channels. The photos on this page are of our own badge.
What file format do you need for the logo?
Vector — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. For laser etching we also need to know the minimum stroke width you accept, because very fine lines may need thickening to etch cleanly in stainless.
Can the manual and packaging be in my language?
The manual can carry your cover and contact details. We ship manuals in English and can supply Spanish and Arabic versions; other languages depend on the model and are confirmed in the quotation.
Does OEM affect the warranty?
No. The one-year whole-machine warranty and spare parts supply apply to OEM machines exactly as they do to Yoshan-badged ones. See warranty and spare parts.
Final thoughts
OEM is not a re-badge. It is your brand on a machine you can stand behind — because you have seen how it is built. If you are weighing OEM against ODM, our OEM vs ODM factory guide sets out the difference. Start with the EC-500G sample roaster, which is built for OEM, or return to the full build sequence.
