The 30kg Coffee Roaster as a Complete Line
A 30kg coffee roaster is bought as a plant, not a machine: green coffee arrives by the pallet, a loader charges the drum, a destoner protects it, and an afterburner answers to whoever issues your permit. That is why the SD-30KG Pro is quoted as one line at USD 51,499 — roaster, loader, destoner and afterburner together — turning 25–38 kg charges into 90–120 kg of roasted coffee an hour under Siemens control with a saved roast curve. The YS-30 is the semi-automatic route at USD 23,999 with its loader: the same Siemens control station your roastmaster knows from our smaller machines, built to your colour, on the same 60–90 working-day schedule.

What Is Built Into Every 30kg Coffee Roaster
Who Runs a 30kg Coffee Roaster
Four kinds of plant order this size, and which of the two machines each one signs for.

Your order book fills a shift every day and the roast has to keep up without extra hands. The SD-30KG Pro line turns 25–38 kg charges into 90–120 kg an hour and cools in 3–5 minutes, so the drum comes straight back for the next charge; loader, destoner and afterburner are already inside the quoted price rather than arriving as separate invoices.

You roast your own parchment at source for export and for a domestic brand, on gas, in a building your own team maintains. The YS-30 gives you a Siemens control station, a cast-iron ring drum and the loader for USD 23,999, and the bearings, burner and cyclone your own technician will service are the same parts as on our smaller machines.

Every retailer's bag and every branch has to taste the same, batch after batch and shift after shift. The SD-30KG Pro stores the approved curve and replays it on every batch, and the whole machine is finished in your own colour with your logo on it — the teal roaster in the gallery above left our floor exactly that way.

You are equipping a plant from a bare floor or selling roasters in your market, and you need one supplier to answer for the whole room. Roaster, loader, destoner, afterburner, grinder and packing machines ship in one container, in your colours; our engineer went to Myanmar to commission a 6–12 kg line of ours alongside the customer's own technicians.

What USD 51,499 Buys as One Line
The SD-30KG Pro is quoted as a complete 30kg coffee roaster line: the roaster itself, the vacuum green-bean loader, the destoner that keeps stones out of a cast-iron drum, and the afterburner, which at this size we build into the line price instead of quoting it separately. Buying those four separately is where large-capacity quotations usually go wrong. The YS-30 at USD 23,999 includes its loader; add the YS-HB40 afterburner at USD 7,300 if your permit calls for one.
Semi-Automatic YS-30 or the SD-30KG Pro Line
On the YS-30 your roastmaster sets gas, airflow and drum speed from the Siemens station and calls the drop, as on our 15 and 20 kg machines. The SD-30KG Pro holds the stored curve itself across the 0–400 °C range and repeats it whoever is on shift, at 90–120 kg an hour. What separates the two prices on a 30kg coffee roaster: the automation, a drum cast entirely in iron, hot-air heating, and the destoner plus afterburner carried inside the line.

Gas, Power and the 0–400 °C Range
Gas is the only heat source we build from 20 kg up, and on the SD-30KG Pro it is natural gas at 6.5 kg/h or LPG at 4.2 kg/h, with the burner set for your supply before the crate closes. Electrical supply is 220 or 380 V, with the full-load current written on your quotation. The drum works anywhere between 0 and 400 °C, so one 30kg coffee roaster covers filter and espresso profiles.
Emissions: Filter, Afterburner and the Flue
On a 30kg coffee roaster the exhaust is usually something an authority looks at rather than a neighbour. Where a permit requires smoke and odour to be destroyed, the afterburner does it — and on the SD-30KG Pro it is inside the line price instead of arriving as a separate item. Where a landlord objects to visible smoke rather than a regulator, an electrostatic filter is sized against your duct run and quoted with the line. Duct diameters and fan positions come on the floor plan with your quotation.

Why 60–90 Working Days
Nothing at this size is stocked. The frame is cut and welded, the cast-iron drum machined and balanced, the Siemens panel built and wired, the body sprayed in your colour, and only then does the machine go together for its test roast and crating. That is the sixty to ninety working days on your 30kg coffee roaster quotation, and photographs come to you while it is on the floor.
Commissioned on Site, Warranty From Receipt
Before crating we roast green coffee on your 30kg coffee roaster and film it; that video and the crate photographs reach you ahead of the balance payment. The twelve-month warranty starts the day the goods arrive with you, and USD 699 at order makes it twenty-four. A full line can be commissioned on your floor by our engineer. See the certifications page.

FAQ
The YS-30 at USD 23,999 covers the roaster and its green-bean loader. The SD-30KG Pro at USD 51,499 is quoted as a complete line: roaster, loader, destoner and afterburner together. Grinder, packing machines and an electrostatic filter are optional items on the same quotation.
The SD-30KG Pro is rated 90–120 kg of roasted coffee an hour, on 25–38 kg batches with a 15–22 minute cycle and 3–5 minute cooling. The YS-30's hourly figure is confirmed on your quotation for your gas, voltage and roast level rather than estimated on this page.
Our 2026 catalogue does not print batch size, output, cycle time or gas consumption for the YS-30, and we would rather leave a gap than print an estimate. Ask for a quotation: the figures come back in writing for the build you order, with the floor plan beside them.
No. From 20 kg up we build gas only — LPG or natural gas. Electric heating is available on our 15 kg machines and below, where a 380 V three-phase supply carries it; at 30 kg, plan the gas supply and tell us whether it is LPG or natural gas.
The SD-30KG Pro uses natural gas at 6.5 kg/h or LPG at 4.2 kg/h, with the burner and regulator set for your supply before shipment. Electrical supply is 220 or 380 V depending on configuration, and the full-load current your electrician needs is stated on the quotation.
That depends on the authority that issues your permit: where it requires smoke and odour to be destroyed rather than filtered, you need one. On the SD-30KG Pro it is already inside the line price; with the YS-30, the YS-HB40 covers 20–40 kg roasters at USD 7,300. Where the objection is visible smoke rather than a permit, an electrostatic filter sized to your duct run is quoted with the line instead.
Because it is built to order: frame, machined cast-iron drum, Siemens control panel, your body colour and logo, then assembly, test roast and crating with the loader. That is the schedule we quote for machines at this size, and we send production photographs while yours is on the floor.
Stay at 30 kg while 90–120 kg an hour covers your orders. Move up when it does not: the SD-60KG Pro lifts hourly output to 150–180 kg for about USD 10,500 more as a complete line at USD 61,999. Tell us your weekly tonnage and we will say which one pays for itself sooner.
Sizing Guide: What a 30 kg Line Involves, YS-30 or SD-30KG Pro, and What It Costs Landed
What a 30 kg Line Involves
Thirty kilos is where a roastery becomes a small factory. Green coffee arrives on pallets and needs somewhere to live; a loader, not an operator, charges the drum; a destoner stands in front of it because one stone in a cast-iron drum is a repair, not an inconvenience; and the exhaust has to satisfy an authority rather than a neighbour. Plan the room, the gas line, the power and the flue before the build slot, because the machine itself takes 60–90 working days and site work is what usually delays first roast.
YS-30 or SD-30KG Pro
The YS-30 at USD 23,999 is the semi-automatic route: Siemens control station, cast-iron ring drum with a single-layer alloy body, loader included, your colour and logo free. The SD-30KG Pro at USD 51,499 is the line: all-cast-iron drum, full hot-air heating, Siemens automation with a stored curve, 25–38 kg charges at 90–120 kg an hour, cooling in 3–5 minutes, and the destoner and afterburner already inside the price. Choose the YS-30 when a skilled roastmaster runs every batch; choose the Pro when the roast must not depend on who is on shift.
Thirty or Sixty
The SD-60KG Pro is the next line up: 60 kg a batch, 150–180 kg an hour, natural gas at 11.7 kg/h, complete with afterburner at USD 61,999. The step from 30 to 60 kg costs about USD 10,500 on the machine and lifts hourly output by roughly half again, so it is usually the cheaper move if your volume is already pressing against 90–120 kg an hour. Below, the 20 kg class starts at USD 18,999; the whole 30–300 kg range sits on the industrial page.
Site, Gas and Exhaust
We issue a floor plan with the quotation rather than publishing dimensions here, because the footprint of a 30 kg line depends on which equipment you take and how the exhaust leaves the building. What you can plan for now: gas sized for 6.5 kg/h of natural gas or 4.2 kg/h of LPG, a 220 or 380 V supply with the full-load current stated on your quotation, a straight duct run to outside, and space to work around the cooling tray and the drum door.
Landed Cost, Payment and Acceptance
EXW Shenzhen is where both prices start. Freight to your port, insurance, a DDP line to your door and any grinder or packing machines you add all appear on the same quotation, so what you compare between suppliers is the delivered figure rather than the machine figure. Half opens the order, the balance follows the test-roast video and precedes shipment. Twelve months of warranty from arrival, twenty-four for USD 699, and commissioning on your floor for a full line.
