Sixty Kilos: the Size Where the Building Matters as Much as the Roaster
At this capacity the machine is rarely the hard part. A 60kg coffee roaster needs three-phase power, a gas supply sized for 11.7 kg of natural gas an hour, a floor that carries the crate, headroom for the loader pipe and a flue that satisfies whoever inspects it — and it repays that work with 150–180 kg of roasted coffee an hour. Yoshan builds two. The SD-60KG Pro arrives as a finished line at USD 61,999, afterburner and destoner already inside the price, running 60 kg charges under Siemens automation with the curve stored. The YS-60 at USD 39,999 keeps the roast in your roastmaster's hands on a Siemens station and ships with its loader.

What Is Built Into Every 60kg Coffee Roaster
Who Runs a 60kg Coffee Roaster
Four operations buy this class, and each tends to sign for a different one of the two machines.

Supermarket listings, hotel groups and a few hundred café accounts mean the roast runs most of the working day. At 150–180 kg an hour the SD-60KG Pro line covers that inside one shift, and because the destoner and afterburner arrive with it, the commissioning conversation is about ducting and gas pressure rather than about what still has to be bought.

You roast other people's brands, so a profile approved in the sample room has to come back identically in tonne quantities, months later. The SD-60KG Pro stores that curve and repeats it whoever is on shift, and the machine leaves our floor wearing the colour and branding your customers expect to see — copper, black, or whatever the brand book specifies.

You roast at source for export containers and a domestic label, usually somewhere gas is easier to guarantee than a stable grid. The YS-60 at USD 39,999 gives you a Siemens station your team already understands from our smaller machines, and bearings, burner and cyclone your own technician can change without anyone flying in.

A plant going up from a bare slab, or a distributor supplying one and answering for all of it. Roaster, loader, destoner, afterburner, grinder and packing equipment travel in a single container, finished in your colours, and our engineer can be on site for commissioning — as he was for a 6–12 kg line of ours in Myanmar, working alongside the customer's own technicians.

USD 61,999 Is the Whole Line
Quotations for a 60kg coffee roaster go wrong when the roaster is priced and the rest arrives later. The SD-60KG Pro figure covers the machine, the green-bean loader, the destoner that keeps stones away from cast iron, and the afterburner, which at this size we build into the line price rather than quote later. With the YS-60 the loader is included too; add the YS-HB60 at USD 9,500 when the permit calls for one, and a destoner from USD 4,469.
Who Decides the Drop: YS-60 or the Pro
Some plants run on a roastmaster's judgement and want the controls under their hands; the YS-60 is built for them, with gas, air and drum speed on the Siemens station. Others need the roast to survive staff turnover and night shifts; that is the SD-60KG Pro, holding the stored profile across 0–400 °C at 150–180 kg an hour. Between the two 60kg coffee roaster prices sits the automation, cast-iron drum, hot-air heating, destoner and afterburner.

Three-Phase Power and a Gas Line That Keeps Up
From 20 kg upward we build gas machines only, and a 60kg coffee roaster asks for 11.7 kg of natural gas an hour, or 7.6 kg/h of LPG, with the burner set for your supply before the crate closes. Power is three-phase 380 V, and the full-load current is written on your quotation so your electrician can size the cable and breaker before the container arrives rather than after.
Emissions: Filter, Afterburner and the Flue
Two pieces of equipment sit between a 60kg coffee roaster and its flue, and we price them differently. The afterburner is inside the SD-60KG Pro line price; with the YS-60 it is the YS-HB60 at USD 9,500. An electrostatic filter, for sites where visible smoke is the complaint, is sized against your duct run and quoted with the line. Which one your site needs is your authority's call; tell us and the layout drawing shows where it goes.

Cast, Machined, Welded, Sprayed, Roasted
The drum housing in the gallery is one of ours mid-build. Every 60kg coffee roaster starts as plate and casting: shell cut and welded, drum machined and balanced, Siemens panel wired, body sprayed in your colour, and only then green coffee on our floor for the test roast. That sequence is what the build time on your quotation covers — 60–90 working days on the YS-60 — and photographs follow the machine down the shop.
Commissioning, Warranty and Spares
The test-roast video and crate photographs reach you before the balance falls due on your 60kg coffee roaster. Warranty is twelve months counted from the day the goods reach you, twenty-four for USD 699 taken at order. Wear parts travel by courier and our engineers work with your technicians on video, or on site for a full line. Certificates live on the certifications page.

FAQ
The YS-60 at USD 39,999 comes with its green-bean loader. The SD-60KG Pro at USD 61,999 is a line: roaster, loader, destoner and afterburner in one figure. Grinder, packing machines and electrostatic filtration are optional additions on the same quotation.
The SD-60KG Pro is rated 150–180 kg an hour on 60 kg charges with a 15–22 minute cycle and 3–5 minute cooling, so a daily figure follows from the shifts you run. We would rather put that calculation in writing for your roast level than print a headline number here.
Because the 2026 catalogue does not list them for this model. Batch size, hourly output, cycle time and gas consumption are confirmed in writing on your quotation for the exact build you order, together with the layout drawing for your building.
No. From 20 kg upward we build gas machines only, natural gas or LPG. Electric heating is available on our 15 kg machines and below, on a 380 V three-phase supply; if electricity is the only supply you can count on at this capacity, tell us and we will say what is possible rather than quote something we do not build.
Three-phase 380 V, with the full-load current stated on your quotation so the cable and breaker can be sized before delivery. Gas is 11.7 kg/h of natural gas or 7.6 kg/h of LPG on the SD-60KG Pro, with the burner and regulator set for your supply before the machine is crated.
The SD-60KG Pro line price includes one. With the YS-60 it is quoted separately: the YS-HB60 covers 40–60 kg roasters at USD 9,500. If what your site needs is filtration of visible smoke rather than an afterburner, an electrostatic unit is sized against your duct run and quoted with the line instead.
The YS-60 is quoted at 60–90 working days; the SD-60KG Pro line has its date confirmed on your quotation. The shell is cut and welded, the drum machined and balanced, the Siemens panel wired, the body sprayed in your colour, then the machine is assembled, test-roasted and crated with its loader, with photographs sent along the way.
Two complete 30 kg lines cost USD 102,998 against USD 61,999 for one 60 kg line, and need two flues, two gas runs and more floor. Against that, they roast 180–240 kg an hour between them rather than 150–180, run two profiles at once, and keep working while one is serviced. One line is the cheaper kilo; two lines buy redundancy. Tell us your product mix and we will put both quotations in front of you.
Sizing Guide: Planning a 60 kg Roastery, YS-60 or SD-60KG Pro, and the Landed Number
What Has to Be Ready Before the Crate Lands
Three-phase power to the machine position. A gas line or cylinder bank that can deliver 11.7 kg of natural gas an hour without pressure drop. A floor that takes the crate and a door it fits through. Headroom for the loader pipe, and a duct route to outside that an inspector will accept. None of that is difficult, but all of it takes longer than people expect, and the build window on your quotation — 60–90 working days on the YS-60 — is the time in which to do it.
YS-60 or SD-60KG Pro
USD 39,999 buys the YS-60: Siemens control station, alloy drum on a cast-iron ring, loader included, any colour, part hot air and part direct flame. USD 61,999 buys the SD-60KG Pro as a line — cast-iron drum, hot-air heating, Siemens automation with the curve stored, 60 kg charges at 150–180 kg an hour, cooling in 3–5 minutes, destoner and afterburner in the box. The honest test is staffing: if one experienced roaster runs every batch, the YS-60 is enough machine; if three people share the shifts, buy the repeatability.
Sixty or One Hundred and Twenty
The next line up costs about USD 38,000 more: the SD-120KG Pro is USD 99,999 complete, 100–200 kg a batch, 200–240 kg an hour on 18–25 minute cycles, burning natural gas at 28 m³/h. Its build window is longer too — the YS-120 is quoted at three to six months rather than 60–90 working days. If 150–180 kg an hour already leaves you roasting overtime, price the 120; if it does not, the money usually does more in packing and warehousing.
Why the YS-60 Numbers Are Not on This Page
Our 2026 catalogue prints no batch, output, cycle or gas figures for the YS-60, so neither do we. Those numbers come back on your quotation, confirmed for the configuration you order, alongside the layout drawing. Publishing an estimate and correcting it at quotation stage is how a plant ends up with an undersized gas line, and it is not a saving we are willing to hand you.
Landed Cost and Acceptance
Both figures are EXW Shenzhen. Sea freight, insurance and a DDP line to your door go on the same quotation, together with any grinder or packing machines, so the comparison between suppliers happens on the delivered number. Half opens the order; the balance follows the test-roast video and precedes shipment. Warranty runs twelve months from arrival, twenty-four for USD 699, and a full line can be commissioned on your floor by our engineer.
